For three years I've danced in PRIDE shoes, and only recently walked into their store for the first time. A conversation with master shoemaker Dmitry changed how I see the craft: why the shoes are made of genuine leather rather than imitation, where the exact heel height comes from, and why every pair is a matter of calculation and experience.

This film is about the makers who craft these shoes and the honest craft that usually stays behind the scenes — about attention to detail and things built to last for years.
